Poliquin Foundations of Periodization & Program Design
This is the foundation course that all other courses in the Poliquin® Program Design Series will build from.
Learning the principles of program design will help strength coaches and personal trainers write effective and safe training programs for their clients.

Course Completion
To complete this course students will send in two 12-week case studies. Students will receive feedback from Poliquin Group™ instructors.

- Different periodization models
- Alternating periodization schemes
- Factors determining time under tension
- Considerations for rest and recovery
- Loading patterns for program goals
- Training Splits
- Progressing exercises through a periodization
- Modeling a short-term periodization
When you register for the course you will receive:
- Online Foundations of Periodization & Program Design Presentation (1 hour and 15 minutes)
- Self-check quizzes
- Course Notes
- Walk through a 12- week Case Study
- Case Study Assignment
Course Completion
